Parts replaces the electrical steering rack motor for any steering rack whose Bosch part number sequence is XJ32-3200-XX (X are letters designating the plant of manufacture and whether the rack is a right or left hand drive rack). 2012-2015 Tesla Model S had this steering rack installed during manufacture. If you have your original steering rack on your 2012-2014 Model S, this part replaces the motor you have. Your Tesla is programmed by Tesla so the steering differential matches the sequence from this motor so you need this motor as your replacement if yours has failed. This power steering motor is programmed to a Tesla Model S steering differential. The motor will also work with a steering rack for and early model Model X, but MAY need to be programmed by Tesla IF factory resetting the vehicle doesn’t pair it correctly. The motor will work on Land Rover Range Rover Evoq
