A Rare lithograph of an oil painting titled Funeral Procession by the first African-American High School Teacher in California, Ida Jackson.
This piece is a recreation of an original painting by artist Ellis Wilson created around 1950.
The canvas itself measures 24” x 20” and is stamped on the back with the words: “Genuine Lithograph on Canvas Chicago, Illinois”.
Unlike the artwork itself, the frame has suffered some slight damage, but could easily be repaired or replaced. The damage consists of several small scuff marks around the frame, and examples of these are pictured. The frame itself measures
28” x 24”.
