Micromosaics are Italian and the mosaicists were mostly working out of Rome. This one looks earlier 1800s. Very much looks like Grand Tour "souvenir" pieces from the Victorian era. I sent a set of 4 off to aucrion at Skinner last year. Some were sterling, some just metal. Did well at auction
