Made for those who Love America and fast cars to commemorate the classic and the best 1970’s Corvette.

Every piece of Fordite, also known as Detroit Agate, is a unique object of beauty. Unlike agate, Fordite comes not from the ground but from the retired paint shops of the automotive industry.

When painting cars in the 1970’ there was a great deal of overspray. It was then that the corvette paint shop workers knocked out chunks of the paint build up and take them home as souvenirs.

The colorful buildup was beautiful in its raw form and turned out to be breathtaking once cut and polished, perfect for use in jewelry.

No one knows how much Fordite was saved. Today, there is very little overspray and no more is being made.
This is a rare piece of art that will never be duplicated again
