This is a beautiful vintage decanter set with 6 glasses & no chips, cracks or other damage. See my close up pics for verification. It was made in Italy, however, is unmarked. The set is light blue with silver overlay. The overlay is very dark silver even though it may appear black in some of the pics, it is dark gray, metallic, when the light hits it right. You can see this effect best in pic 2, at the bottom of the design. The silver has oxidized. The approximate measurements are: decanter 8.5"H without stopper, 10.75"H with stopper. The glasses are 2.25"H x 1.375" diameter. There seems to be 2 main opinions on vintage silver overlay be safe to drink from. However, from the vintage glass & silver overlay sites, the most prevalent opinion appears to be to only use them occasionally & not to store liquids in them. Of course, that is your choice... I also read that this overlay looks spectacular when polished ( ?)
