In the Victorian era the queen stated this trend with her decades of grief. This is from the Edwardian era that made death big business from hairs spun into jewelry and hair, nails and teeth being made and mixed with the paint.
This ring has a split band holding a huge black onyx disk with a bone/denture like oval with hand painted flower motif in a scalloped frame. The entire disk has a sterling frame with three unique cut outs making this ring edgy and elegant
