Does not power on

Includes all parts for the laptop besides the ssd, I have personal information on it and no easy way to wipe it.


No physical damage, no water damage, no screen damage and minor wear on plastics.

I was playing a game and it cut off and wouldn’t power back on. Charging light comes on but no power.

I have a bit of electronics repair experience so I checked the common things.

Voltage in was fine and as was the charging area and battery. All reading correctly. I probed some of the other voltages and it seemed fine. I only do throughhole work and don’t have a setup for SMD. So not sure if there is a bad cap somewhere or maybe a ram issue.

I don’t have a replacement keyboard to see if that is the issue for powering on, since all the voltages looked fine and were making it across the board.


The pictures are from the disassembly, it will arrive with everything back together in stock setup and all screws in place.
