Works great as a standard lens and for upclose macro photography. I''m only selling because I''ve moved from an m body to an r body, fantastic little lens. It has a little led ring that lights up your subject, which works amazing. Comes with lens cap, led ring cover, and cap for the back of the lens. I have attached some photos I took with this lens on my M50 as a reference.
