Stunning collector’s specimen! Rare, high quality dioptase with duftite from Mindouli area, Pool Dept. in the Republic of Congo (DRC). This collector’s grade piece is exquisite and aesthetic, features gemmy dioptase crystal clusters and accents of isolated duftite and calcite on matrix. The lustrous dioptase are deep emerald green with beautiful form and almost inner teal green glow! A superb and unique botryoidal crest of dioptase arches in the front of the sculptural gem. Little rosette clusters of rare lime green duftite are scattered throughout the dioptase along with bladed white micro crystalline calcite, adding great contrast. The specimen sparkles like diamonds with terminated and druzy dioptase throughout the quartz matrix. A fantastical fine mineral display piece measuring about 2.5 x 2 x 1.75 inches. Includes the ID / locale info card.
