1940s INDONESIAN BALI HAND CARVED HARDWOOD BUSTS BY A.A. FATIMAH WOMAN WARRIOR
These beautiful vintage wood-carved busts were crafted by artist A.A. Fatimah. A.A. Fatimah was renowned for his hardwood hand-carved sculptures. At peak of production in the 1940s, the pieces by this renowned artist are rare and extremely desirable. It seems these particular busts are a tradition warrior and a native woman. These particular hand-carved busts are of exceptional quality and might be the gold standard of A.A. Fatimah’s work because of the impeccable condition! These items have A.A. Fatimah’s maker''s mark/carved signature on the underside base of the bust. NO cracks or chips... it''s in impeccable condition. The warrior seems to be missing a weapon from his sheath.
