Up for sale is a vintage cast iron nutcracker. Marked on the bottom, A Kahn Jeweler Washington, DC. It works by turning the little arm down. It turns freely, on each end is a nut shape. The rest has a little floral design. It measures approximately 3.5 x 2.5 and 3.5 inches tall when turned all the way down. Turn of the century nut cracker modeled after a miniature book press. Measures about Turn the handle (complete with walnut finials) and crack your nut gently. Works. Marked on the bottom: A. KAHN JEWELER, and underneath WASH, D.C. Possible nickel plate, not sure.
